From Pizza Hut to Bánh Mì
This building served Portland for over 50 years. Now it serves something better.
For five decades, this spot on SE 122nd was a Pizza Hut — and by the end, it had the one-star Yelp reviews to prove it. In 2023, the ovens went cold.
In August 2025, the building got a second life. Bon Bánh Mì opened its doors — run by the same family behind Bon Baguette in Happy Valley. Instead of stuffed crust, the ovens now turn out fresh-baked Vietnamese baguettes every morning.
We're a small, community-driven shop in East Portland's Mill Park neighborhood. No frills, just really good bánh mì at a price that makes sense. The bread is baked here. The vegetables are prepped fresh. The coffee is strong.
